How do I redeem my gift code?

To redeem a yearly gift code:

1. Access the CookBook app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Web App
2. Create a CookBook account (if you do not already have one)
3. Head to https://plans.thecookbookapp.com/ click ‘Account’ in the top right corner, then ‘Login’ and sign in using your CookBook details
4. Select your preferred currency then click 'subscribe now' under the yearly plan.
5. Select ‘Add promotion code’ - The coupon code box is just on the left hand side of the payment page on a desktop and top right hand corner on a phone.
6. Enter your coupon code (please be aware the code is case sensitive) and hit 'Apply'
7. Complete all other payment details for your subscription to continue once your gift subscription has expired (cancel anytime – check out our FAQ on how).
8. Click 'Subscribe'.
9. If your subscription does not show immediately in your CookBook App, please hit ‘Sync Device’ on the side menu
   
   

To redeem a lifetime gift code:

1. Access the CookBook app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Web App
2. Create a CookBook account(if you do not already have one)
3. Head to https://plans.thecookbookapp.com/click ‘Account’ in the top right corner, then ‘Login’ and sign in using your CookBook details
4. Within the ‘Hello’ pop up, click on the button ‘Redeem Gift Coupon’
5. Enter your coupon code(please be aware the code is case sensitive) and hit okay
6. Your code will now be active and redeemed, click okay.
7. If your lifetime licence does not show immediately in your CookBook App, please hit ‘Sync Device’ on the side menu
